    • The majority of the trees on ancestry.com list Elizabeth's year of death as 1861 in Laclede County, Missouri; however, no one seems to have a source for this. In the 1870 census there is an Elizabeth Atwood born in South Carolina abt 1795, age 75 living in Lincoln, Nodaway County, Missouri. The date and location match our Elizabeth Ann Miles Atwood. (Nodaway County is not near Laclede County - and is located in the far northwestern part of the state.) This Elizabeth Atwood is living with Thomas Rutledge, age 65 and Amanda Rutledge, age 45. These two people are not identified as being connected to our Atwood family to date. Is this our Elizabeth?
