Andrew Washington Knight
Andrew Washington Knight, 73, a lifelong resident of Laclede County, died at his home at the junction of Highway 5 and 32, about 8 p.m. Tuesday, after a long illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, at the White Oak Pond Church, with Rev. Raymond Tracy officiating. Burial will be in the White Oak Pond cemetery, under the direction of the Palmer Funeral Home.
The pallbearers will be six sons. They are Sgt. Warren Knight of the Lebanon Police Department, Othel Knight, Lebanon, Walter, of Camp Carson, Colorado, Floyd of Kansas City, Missouri, Hobert of Galena, Kansas, and Dean Knight of Sweet Springs, Missouri.
Other survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Knight, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Durward Lindsay of Lebanon, and Mrs. Loraine Lindsay, of Morgan, two brothers, Austin of Lebanon and Harrison of Covena, California two half-brothers, Clarence and Clyde Knight, both of Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Renner of Lebanon, one half-sister, Mrs. Farell Chastain, of Russ, and his stepmother, Mrs. Emma Knight, of Russ. He also leaves 20 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
