Beulah Viola Rogers Grantham

"Beulah Grantham, Entered into eternal rest, Thursday, March 4, 1976. Beulah Grantham, 96, died at 10:35 PM Thursday at Stewart Nursing Home in Lawn after a lengthy illness. Services will be at 3 pm Sunday in First Baptist Church in Oplin.
The Rev Wendell Leach, pastor of Fair Park United Methodist Church in Abilene, will officiate. Burial will be in Tecumseh Cemetery, directed by Fry Funeral Home.
Born Beulah Viola Rogers, Jan 9, 1880, in Corsicana, she moved to Taylor County with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Rogers in 1888. They lived in the Rogers Community and she married G.W. Grantham there in April 1900.
They lived in Oplin until 1952, when they moved to Premont. She was a member of Premont United Methodist Church. Mr Grantham died Jan 23, 1954.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. L.P. (Maggie Bell) Ligon of Chico, Calif., Anna Lee Goble of Oplin and Mrs Leonard (Vira) Setliff of Bishop; three sons, Alvin of Oplin, G.W. of Carrizo Springs and J.C. of Premont; a sister, Mrs Cyrill Jones of Ovalo; a brother, Calvin Rogers of Lawn; 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Two Daughters preceded her in death.
Grandsons will serve as pall bearers.
